Best Western Premier Des Moines-Ankeny Hotel

The hotel's location was favourable and beautiful next to the lake. The food was good and the bar was excellent.

Lovely and beautiful setting, I had good time.

The hotel was reasonably clean with free Wi-Fi. The staff was very amiable all that time. I had huge and tastefully decorated room with extremely comfy bed. Lake view was a bonus.

Loved the cozy patio by the pond and the fine décor in the rooms. Our stay was relaxation central!

The beds were cozy and I appreciated the additional amenities provided for business needs. The staff was attentive, quickly assisting with my inquiries and ensuring my requests were met without delay.

The nearby Seafood Market Restaurant was a letdown, falling short of culinary excellence. There seemed to be misleading information regarding breakfast availability .

The heated swimming pool was perfect, and we appreciated the cozy TV lounge available for downtime.

The location was perfect for exploring nearby hiking and biking trails, and we especially appreciated the generous breakfast options to fuel our day of adventure with our adult children.

In my kids' opinion, the noise from other guests running around at night was a bit disruptive. It would be great to have some quiet hours enforced for families.

Great Stay with Room for Improvement

Our four-night stay had its ups and downs. The room was spacious and comfortable, but we struggled with the bathroom lighting. An unexpected bonus was the nearby restaurant serving delicious breakfast options. I recommend asking for extra towels upon check-in to avoid any hassle later.

The rooms were super clean, and the staff were very good too ensure i had a comfortable stay. The breakfast options were delicious, with made-to-order dishes and fresh fruits.

Finding the hotel was a bit of a wild goose chase with poor signage, and the black mold in the shower was a bummer. Can't believe we had to shell out for breakfast after all that!

Comfortable bed that feels like sleeping on a cloud, spacious bathroom with central heating, plenty of TV channels to binge-watch, and a microwave for late-night snacks 🍿. Great spot by the lake with stunning views, and a cool pool to splash around in.
